Eligibility:
This contest is exclusively for artists who are either Irish nationals or currently living in Ireland at the time of their submission.

 

Download the Beat:

Access and download the free instrumental beat provided by ROC via the form.
Your entry must use this beat as the foundation of your song.

 

Create Your Song:

Write and record your original lyrics to the provided beat.
Your submission should be a demo track, which means it doesn't need to be fully polished or professionally recorded.

 

Video Submission:

Record a video of your performance of the song. The video and audio should be clear and comprehensible.
The video doesn’t need to be professionally shot; a good-quality smartphone recording is acceptable.

 

Social Media Sharing:

Share your performance video on Instagram, use the hashtag #SupportLocalSongComp, and tag @bitterrocc and @goldeneirerecords in the post.
Ensure your account is public so that the competition judges and audience can view it.

 

Deadline for Submissions:

All entries must be submitted by midnight, 18th of February. Entries received after this deadline will not be considered.

 

Judging Criteria:

Entries will be judged based on innovation, artistic merit, and overall quality of the performance.
The decision of the judges will be final.

 

Winner Announcement:

The winner will be announced by 25th of February, and they will be contacted directly via the provided contact details.

The winning artist must be available to travel to Dublin on an agreed-upon date for recording.

 

Rights and Permissions:

Judges reserve the right to bring multiple artists on board for a collaborative track should they find the artistic merit and potential in more than one submission.

By entering the competition, you agree to allow Golden Éire Records and ROC to use your submitted materials for promotional purposes.
The entrants retain all rights to their original lyrics and performance.

 

No Entry Fee:
There is no entry fee for participating in this competition.
